3in1 Happy Bee Folding Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

August 26, 2019

The 3in1 happy Bee Baby Blanket is a fun and easy crochet pattern to make that is the perfect baby shower gift or present to a beekeeper or bee lover.

Did you know...

THIS YEAR I DECIDED TO DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY AND SO ALL MY PATTERNS WILL BE FREE FOR THE FIRST 3 DAYS FROM RELEASE.

THIS PATTERN IS NOT FREE ANYMORE, BUT YOU CAN FOLLOW MY BLOG AND FACEBOOK PAGE TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN OTHER PATTERNS GO LIVE AND YOU WON'T MISS OUT AGAIN.

FIND THE INEXPENSIVE PATTERN IN MY ETSY STORE AND RAVELRY STORE.

Just like my other 3 in 1 baby blankets, the 3in1 Happy Bee Baby Blanket acts as a toy, a blanket and a decoration for your loved one's room or nursery.

Unfold it and keep your child warm and snuggly while he is entertained playing with the bumble bee.

Once done, fold it back and it instantly transforms into a decorative item that you can rest on the arm chair or the side of the cot.

Made with double knit (light worsted) yarn, this blanket is warm and soft, but light in weight, perfect for babies of all sizes and ages.

The modern granny pattern used here creates a lacy and delicate blanket.

The blanket is crocheted in bright yellow and black, it's gender neutral and will fit in any nursery.

Make it your own and choose any color that suits your color scheme and decor.

Crochet Level

Advanced Beginner

This pattern is suitable for crocheters who are comfortable reading a crochet pattern and have attempted amigurumi before.

All special stitches are explained so you can easily follow and complete the pattern.

A link to the video is provided that shows you how to crochet the pattern for the blanket portion of the design.

Size

This pattern will create a baby blanket size 90cm by 75cm.

You can make yours as small or as large as you like by changing the number of the starting chains and the number of rows.

Gauge

Keep the tension relaxed, if your work is too tight, the ends will curl.

Use one size up hook to make the foundation chain and first row.

Gauge is not very important in this pattern. For your reference, a 10cm by 10cm area has 5 rows and 15 stitches.
