Crochet Pattern: 3 in 1 Decorative Woodland Deer Toy Baby Security Blanket

The success of the sheep version of this 3 in 1 blanket made me think there is a need for more designs and as we are in the middle of the festive season, a woodland deer felt like the natural choice.

THIS YEAR I DECIDED TO DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY AND SO ALL MY PATTERNS WILL BE FREE FOR THE FIRST 3 DAYS FROM RELEASE

THIS PATTERN IS NOT FREE ANYMORE, BUT YOU CAN FOLLOW MY BLOG AND FACEBOOK PAGE TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN OTHER PATTERNS GO LIVE AND YOU WON'T MISS OUT AGAIN

This beautiful 3 in 1 baby blanket acts as a toy, a blanket and a decoration for your loved one's room.

Unfold it and keep your child warm and snuggly while he is entertained playing with the deer.

Once done, fold it back and it instantly transforms into a decorative item that you can rest on the arm chair or the side of the cot.

The natural neutral colours are suitable for both girls and boys and will fit with any colour scheme you might have. It also makes a great present (if I may say so).

I chose a different pattern for this blanket, the hexagons, simply because I wanted the deer to have spots on its back, just like a real one would, some smaller, some larger, randomly placed (or not!).

Sew on a red nose instead of the brown one to turn your woodland deer into a festive one.

Looking for a different baby lovey design? Check out my Snuggle Lamb Baby Lovey Pattern, another gender neutral option for your little one and its matching baby blanket that turns into a cute toy, the Cuddly Sheep Baby Toy Blanket.
