Crochet Pattern: Snuggle Lamb Baby Lovey Security Blanket

This little snuggle lamb was made to accompany the Cuddly Sheep Baby Blanket I made a couple of months ago.

THIS YEAR I DECIDED TO DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY AND SO ALL MY PATTERNS WILL BE FREE FOR THE FIRST 3 DAYS FROM RELEASE

THIS PATTERN IS NOT FREE ANYMORE, BUT YOU CAN FOLLOW MY BLOG AND FACEBOOK PAGE TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN OTHER PATTERNS GO LIVE AND YOU WON'T MISS OUT AGAIN

FIND THE INEXPENSIVE PATTERN IN MY ETSY STORE and RAVELRY STORE

I kept the same bobble stitch pattern and same head features to match the pram blanket, but I chose to make it a star shaped lovey because I think it's so much more cute than the regular square shape.

First I had to come with a pattern for the star and this is how the Bobble Stitch 5 Point Star Pattern was born.

But the original pattern was too thick and stiff to be used as a baby lovey so I had to modify it and use a thinner yarn to make the star softer and snugly.

Pin it for later

Supplies I Used

- DK worsted yarn in white and grey similar to Red Heart Soft Baby Steps

- 3.5mm crochet hook, I use this set for all my designs

blunt sewing needle to fit the yarn

- 8mm black doll safety eyes

This is how your blanket should look like finished.
